BarkAID’s 50 State Tour benefits HSU

MURRAY, UT (Sept. 17, 2015) -- On July 31, 2015, master stylist Patrick Lomantini embarked on his fourth national 50 States Tour offering haircuts to raise funds for animal shelters across the country. Lomantini’s ultimate road trip is scheduled to visit the Kelly Cardenas Salon located at 1086 South Jordan Parkway in South Jordan Sept. 19 to raise donations for the Humane Society of Utah (HSU). Lomantini is donating his time, resources and services during the 50 States Tour and asking for donations of $25 per haircut to be donated to the HSU. Appointments are available between 10 a.m.

The Humane Society of Utah is looking for feline-friendly businesses to hire (foster) temporary workers to fill the position of “Office Cat” until permanent employment (adoption) can be secured.

Qualifications: Pets in the workplace have a proven record of decreasing stress and increasing job satisfaction! Plus, the vibration of cat purrs have healing powers… no really, they do.
