Reward for information leading to arrest in Box Elder County investigation

The Humane Society of Utah is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the illegal killing of two fawns and a pregnant doe in Box Elder County. The HSU hopes the reward assists the Division of Wildlife Resources in obtaining information required to identify and charge whoever is responsible for running the three deer down with a vehicle and leaving them to suffer and die.

The Humane Society of Utah is adding a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the illegal killing of a dog and stolen cow in Iron County. HSU hopes the increased reward assists the Iron County Sheriff’s Department in obtaining information required to identify and charge whoever is responsible for these criminal acts.

World Spay Day cat vouchers at HSU

Reduce homeless pets through spay/neuter

The Humane Society of Utah is proud to participate in The Humane Society of the United States' 2015 World Spay Day Tuesday, Feb. 24. To bring awareness to the very important issue of the homeless pet population in Utah and around the world, a limited number of free and discounted Cat Spay Vouchers will be issued between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the HSU Clinic located at 4242 S 300 W in Murray, Utah. Vouchers will be given on a first come, first served basis; limit one voucher per household.

February is adopt a rescued rabbit month

The Humane Society of Utah encourages people to consider rabbits as pets too

During the month of February, the Humane Society of Utah is offering a special adoption fee of $20 for one rabbit or $30 for two. All adoptable animals are neutered or spayed and HSU can help educate people on the proper equipment needed, care and training of their new pet rabbit.
