The events team at Humane Society of Utah has a handful of major events throughout the year and several smaller events each month. We host food trucks at our facility in Murray weekly during the summer. Contact Special Events for more information.
Attend our unique events and have fun: for a good cause. We offer training classes and other educational opportunities on a regular basis. Your participation directly benefits the animals in our care and funds the programs we offer.

Palentines Pet Portraits

Valentine’s Pet Portraits at the Humane Society of Utah Auditorium
15 minutes @ $45.00 – Book your time slot now! SOLD OUT
The $45 sitting fee includes a same-day 8×10 portrait and is a tax-deductible donation to the Utah Humane Society. The fee must be paid at the time of booking.
Limit of four pets per sitting. All dogs must be on a leash, and cats/other animals must be in a carrier.

Valentine's Dog Date Foster Weekend
Home for the Holidays – Valentine’s Edition
NEW! Short-Term Foster Opportunity:
1. Fill out the Foster Interest Form on the Foster Page
2. Make an appointment after you’re approved ([email protected])
3. Pick up a dog on Saturday, February 14, during your appointment
4. Let your foster dog relax at home with you for the rest of the weekend
5. Return the dog to HSU on Monday, February 16th, before our adoption lobby opens at 11 am, so they can be adopted

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event for the Humane Society of Utah (HSU)! Please use this form if you are:
- Hosting a fundraiser for HSU
- Inviting HSU staff to attend a tabling event
- Hosting an offsite adoption event and requesting adoptable animals

The Humane Society of Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that receives no tax dollars or funds from national nonprofit organizations. The animals depend on the support of caring individuals like you.
We have created the following guidelines to enhance the success of third-party/community events and avoid any conflicts with HSU donors, corporate sponsors, or events planned already.
Please don’t print any materials, pursue any media publicity or solicit cash or in-kind sponsors until you get written approval for your event from the Humane Society of Utah.
To make this process as smooth as possible, please complete the event application and submit it to HSU at least two weeks before your event. Once we approve your application, an HSU staff member will contact you.
