Help! I Have a Reactive Dog
Help! I Have a Reactive Dog
Understanding Reactivity in Dogs
Some dogs have very big feelings when they see other dogs, and this behavior may be observed by barking, lunging, growling, or pulling.
This is a 5-hour workshop focused on reactivity in dogs, with a hands-on training portion.
Some of the topics covered:
- What is leash reactivity, and how do dogs become reactive
- Training solutions designed to help reactive dogs
- Training games that are both fun for the human and the dog
- How to incorporate enrichment into training
This class isn’t just for dogs who are reactive to other dogs; this class can be helpful for dogs who lunge at cars or other animals.
Dog aggression is beyond the scope of this class.
