The events team at Humane Society of Utah has a handful of major events throughout the year and several smaller events each month. We host food trucks at our facility in Murray weekly during the summer. Contact Special Events for more information.
Attend our unique events and have fun: for a good cause. We offer training classes and other educational opportunities on a regular basis. Your participation directly benefits the animals in our care and funds the programs we offer.

Cat Logic Class

Want to be the best cat parent you can be? Struggling with your cat’s behavior? Bringing a cat home and wanting to figure out how to make everything go as smoothly as possible? Cats are wonderful, social, and complex pets to bring into our families. They have many needs and wants, and they try their best to communicate with us. It’s up to us to learn how to listen and set them up for success in our homes. This is why HSU is putting on Cat Logic! A class to help you be a better cat parent, know how to address common cat problems, implement management, enrich through training, and create harmony in your home. This class will be for human attendees only; please leave your kitties at home. Each spot is for one seat in the class. Families, couples, and household members will have to get a spot for each person wanting to attend.

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event for the Humane Society of Utah (HSU)! Please use this form if you are:
- Hosting a fundraiser for HSU
- Inviting HSU staff to attend a tabling event
- Hosting an offsite adoption event and requesting adoptable animals

The Humane Society of Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that receives no tax dollars or funds from national nonprofit organizations. The animals depend on the support of caring individuals like you.
We have created the following guidelines to enhance the success of third-party/community events and avoid any conflicts with HSU donors, corporate sponsors, or events planned already.
Please don’t print any materials, pursue any media publicity or solicit cash or in-kind sponsors until you get written approval for your event from the Humane Society of Utah.
To make this process as smooth as possible, please complete the event application and submit it to HSU at least two weeks before your event. Once we approve your application, an HSU staff member will contact you.
