Harnessing Compassion Exchange Program

Here at the Humane Society of Utah, we are committed to positive reinforcement training for dogs instead of fear or pain-based punishment methods. That is why we started our Harnessing Compassion Exchange Program.

When a client visits any Utah Humane Society clinic or facility with one of the following harmful collars on their dog, we will offer them a new harness in exchange, for FREE.

  • prong collar
  • shock/E-collar
  • slip lead, or
  • choke chain
