Subaru Loves Pets FREE Microchip Clinic - Saturday, Oct. 28
Don't lose your treasure! Unexpected circumstances can arise where your pet may become lost or misplaced, and in those situations, the chance of being reunited is drastically improved if your pet has a microchip that can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter.
Register to receive your own FREE pet microchip, courtesy of the Wasatch Front Subaru Retailers on Oct. 28 between 9-2pm! Simply select your desired location below and choose a time: 9am, 10am, 11am, noon, or 1pm.
Click one of the five Wasatch Front Subaru Retailer locations below to register. Duplicate registrations will be deleted without notice and only your first registration will be held.
Space is limited to 50 registrants per hour. You and your pet are welcome to wear a Halloween costume, just make sure your pet is safe, comfortable and has unrestricted movement.
Necessary paperwork must be completed before the microchip is implanted. All registrants will briefly wait in line to have a microchip implanted by local licensed veterinarians and technicians who have graciously donated their time to this event.
Microchips are limited to one pet per household -- that's one dog or one cat per household only.
All dogs must be on a leash and all cats in a carrier.
Subaru realizes how important pets are to your family, which is why the Wasatch Front Subaru Retailers want to make sure your four-legged friends are always able to find their way back home. One in three pets will go missing at some point in their lives. Show your pet some love and ensure they are always able to find their way back to you. The Avid Microchip is an implantable medical device, about the size of a grain of rice (12mm), which safely and permanently identifies your pet.
For additional questions or concerns, email email@example.com.

NOTE: You are not required to pay anything at the event. Wasatch Front Subaru Retailers pays for the equipment, and the veterinarian staff volunteers their time. All of the microchips are pre-registered to the Humane Society of Utah. If your pet were to become lost and their microchip scanned, our HSU Clinic information would appear as the point of contact. After the HSU Clinic is contacted, we would provide your given information. The downside to this is that if your pet were found after hours when our clinic is closed, it could result in a delay providing your information and contacting you to get your pet back.
We purchase our microchips through Avid. They charge a one-time $20 fee online to register the microchip with your personal contact information after your pet has been microchipped. The benefit to you is that if your pet's microchip were scanned, you would be contacted immediately. They would not need to contact our Clinic to receive your information.
