Charley came to us with severe bilateral hip dysplasia and an outstanding personality. After months of trying to fix her dysplasia, she is now pain-free and her outstanding personality remains intact. Unfortunately, one of her hips refused all attempts to surgically correct it and the leg was amputated, but she gets around well on three legs. Charley is housetrained and great with other dogs, cats and kids and has lots of love to give in the form of wet doggy kisses. She loves to go for walks but is still building up her stamina so will need someone willing to go for increasingly longer daily walks.
Charley is one of those ridiculous dogs that collects nicknames because she is so silly and has great side-eye expressions. A small sampling of the names we've called her: Charlize, Charlene, Char, Charizard, Charleston. Perhaps you'd like to meet her and come up with a nickname of your own? Call her foster mom, Juli at 801-824-0454 for more information. She is available to meet by appointment from her foster home.
