Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Each day camp is limited to 15 participants.
1st & 2nd Graders - Mar. 25 • 9 am to 1:30 pm, $50
3rd & 4th Graders - Mar. 26 • 9 am to 3 pm, $60
5th & 6th Graders - Mar. 27 • 9 am to 3 pm, $60

March 25 and April 15th Day Camp for 1st and 2nd Graders: Kindness to animals both big and small.
Campers will gain an understanding of how/why animals end up in shelters. Campers will participate in crafts/games while learning what animals need to be happy, healthy and safe. Campers will get to meet a variety of critters and learn how to properly and safely interact with them. The overall goal of this camp is to give children an understanding of why it's important to be kind to animals and how to be responsible pet owners.
March 26th and April 16th Day Camp for 3rd and 4th Graders: Animal Yoga!
Campers will get to learn/interact with some of our small animals such as; Chinchillas, Guinea Pigs and Rats! Campers will participate in an interactive animal-themed yoga class taught by a certified yoga instructor, Sarah Bly with Kidding Around Yoga! Campers will expand their knowledge about cat behavior and get to spend time making treats and providing enrichment to our furry residents. The overall goal of this camp is to give children a hands-on understanding of how to interact with different types of animals and provide them with the tools that strengthen the humane animal bond.
March 27th and April 17th Day Camp for 5th and 6th Graders: Animal Advocacy!
Campers will get to learn about some of the issues facing the animal welfare world and what they can do to become advocates while learning how to interact with a variety of animals. Campers will get to learn dog body language and the importance of positive reinforcement training, then put their skills to the test by practicing what they've learned with some of our shelter dogs. The overall goal of this camp is to provide participants with the resources necessary to become animal advocates. They will also learn the benefits and importance of teaching our pets through positive reinforcement training.
To participate, campers must currently be enrolled in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade to participate.
Each child will receive one (1) Camp T-shirt. Extra shirts are available for $10/each.
Lunch, snack and water bottle must be provided by the parent/guardian.
To register, please select the desired grade then the camp date in March or April. Please complete a separate registration for EACH CHILD that you are registering.
