BarkAID’s 50 State Tour benefits HSU

MURRAY, UT (Sept. 17, 2015) -- On July 31, 2015, master stylist Patrick Lomantini embarked on his fourth national 50 States Tour offering haircuts to raise funds for animal shelters across the country. Lomantini’s ultimate road trip is scheduled to visit the Kelly Cardenas Salon located at 1086 South Jordan Parkway in South Jordan Sept. 19 to raise donations for the Humane Society of Utah (HSU). Lomantini is donating his time, resources and services during the 50 States Tour and asking for donations of $25 per haircut to be donated to the HSU. Appointments are available between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a 15 minute dry haircut by one of Lomantini’s or Kelly Cardenas Salon’s stylists. Animals from the HSU will be available for adoption on-site.

BarkAID, established in 2010, is a self-funded, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of Kansas. Theirmission is to raise funds and awareness for homeless animals, as well as educate people about what is happening with animals in their communities. BarkAID raises funds for shelters and pet adoption organizations in all 50 States. BarkAID’s largest fundraiser is the 50 States Tour. The 50 States Tour was created by Patrick Lomantini. Patrick is a master stylist and owner of Lomantini The Salon and two time world record holder who has found a way to marry his passion for hair and his love for animal rescue.
