Jane's Story
I adopted my cat Jane (I never changed her name because it fit her so well) in July of 2015 after the death of my previous cat. I was completely heartbroken. After a few weeks of mourning my beloved Ivy, I decided that there were more animals in need of homes that I could love and give a new chance at life, and could love me in return. I spent three hours wandering the Humane Society. I probably spent time with every cat there. I finally walked past a room with a paper on the window reading all about Jane from her previous foster family.

Niska's Story
Our 12-year-old cat died in April of 2016. We grieved (still do), but opened our hearts to 8-year-old Niska in October 2016. He had some scars, a chunk missing from one ear, and was afraid of loud noises. This made us think he was a stray at one point, or even for most of his life. He came home with us and never went outside again. He had food, treats, his own mug for water (Mommy and Daddy have people cups. I want a people cup.), scratches, towers, everything. He spent that X-mas with us in complete awe. I don't think he had ever seen a X-mas tree or lights before.
Marshall's Story
We adopted Marshall July 16th, to be honest we were just looking to see if we were wanting a pet. We got to walk a couple of dogs and of course, our heart was set on each animal! Then we came across Marshall who was only 5 months old when we got him! He was on hold for another family when we first saw him but unfortunately, the other family was not able to take him and we were lucky to take him home with us. Marshall was told to have some quirks when we got him but, we have yet to see them. He is so friendly and great with animals.
