MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 - 75 LBS. Long hours of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and twisting. Repetitive hand and wrist motion. Ability to communicate with clients to explain procedures and schedules. The ideal person for this job will be organized, a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy. Must have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to strictly follow verbal and written instructions. Work requires continual intense focus and attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Outstanding customer services skills are required. One year of experience in a veterinary hospital is desired but we will train the right person.
Must be available to work part-time Tuesday through Friday 7:15 am - 6:15 pm, rotating Saturdays 8:45 am - 3:15 pm, and rotating Mondays 8:45 am - 6:15 pm.
Assist Veterinarians with animal restraint, surgery preparation, monitoring and recovery. Assist with blood draws and vaccinations and other minor, routine veterinary services for our very busy spay/neuter and walk-in vaccination clinic.
Two part-time positions are available until filled.
