Full-Time Clinic Receptionist/Cashier

The applicant hired for this position will be responsible for handling all functions of the reception/check-in area for our very busy, high-volume spay/neuter and vaccination clinic. 

Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to strictly follow verbal and written instructions. Work requires continual focus and attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with the ability to successfully juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Scheduled days vary; applicant must be available to work 7:15 A.M. to 6:15 P.M  weekdays, and 8:45 A.M. - 3:15 P.M. on Saturday. Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software in a veterinary hospital is desired but we will train the right person. 

Responsibilities will include data entry, appointment scheduling, surgery and vaccination check-in, answering telephones, processing invoices and payments, assisting and educating clients, and keeping the reception area neat and clean. Must have a minimum of one year of customer service, cashier, data entry, and job related computer experience. The ideal person for this job is organized, a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
