Position Title: Customer Experience Specialist

Reporting to: Clinic Director, Reception Manager

Employment Type: Part-time - Non-exempt, 24 - 25 hours per week

Pay: $12+/hr. D.O.E.

We’re looking for 2 exceptional people to help us manage customer flow in our extremely busy (think Black Friday at the Mall) and successful walk-in vaccination clinic. The schedule requires availability to work Monday through Saturday. The clinic is closed on Sundays and all major holidays. No evening work.
 
Purpose of the Position
Provide outstanding customer service. Receptionists handle all facets of our busy, high volume walk-in vaccination and spay/neuter clinic, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking clients in for services, and processing payments.
 
 
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Must be comfortable working with and around dogs and cats. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to understand and strictly follow all verbal and written directions from Staff Veterinarians, Clinic Director, and Reception Management.

    Minimum of 1 year of outstanding performance in Customer Service, cash handling, and data entry. Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment. Must be comfortable working with and around dogs and cats. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to understand and strictly follow all verbal and written directions from Staff Veterinarians, Clinic Director, and Reception Management.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the essential functions of this position, the Customer Experience Specialist is required to stand and walk for long periods, and converse with clients to explain procedures and services.
