2018 REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED

THANK YOU to our 2018 H.E.R.O. Camp Sponsors for making educating children and teens about animal welfare possible.

During a typical day at the week-long H.E.R.O. (Humane Educators Reaching Out) Summer Camp, children will participate in age-appropriate humane education workshops, presentations, games and more. Workshops will focus on different types of animals each day, many with visitors - two-legged, four-legged, finned and feathered - from other animal welfare groups in Utah. Due to the fact that we are dealing with live animals, campers will get 1-2 hours of animal interaction each day of camp, which includes petting, holding, watering, feeding and cleaning. Our goal is to provide campers with information and experiences that will foster empathy, appreciation and respect for all animals!
