During a typical day at H.E.R.O. (Humane Educators Reaching Out) Spring Camp, children will participate in age-appropriate humane education workshops, presentations, games and more. Workshops will focus on different types of animals each day. Depending on the age range of the children, campers will receive one to two hours of animal interaction each day, which may include petting, holding, watering, feeding, and cleaning.
1st/2nd/3rd grades: Mar. 25, Apr. 8
4th/5th/6th grades: Mar. 26, Mar. 27, Apr. 9, Apr. 10
9-3 p.m. each day
Please make sure you are registering your child for the grade for which they are currently enrolled.
$65 for each individual day*
- Each child will receive one (1) Camp T-shirt.
- Lunch, snack and water bottle must be provided by the parent/guardian.
* Campers may sign up for multiple days if they meet the age requirements (e.g., March 26, March 27, April 9, and April 10 are all for 4th/5th/6th grades.) Parents are welcome to sign their kids up for both days of their preferred camp week. Some materials may overlap.
Space is limited to 15 children per day.
