Ruby's Story
I wanted to share how much better life has been since I adopted Ruby in March 2009. At first, she took a lot of work on socialization with other dogs, but after months of walking her only on a leash, and carefully supervising her around other dogs, she is now able to play well with any dog in the dog park! She has such a good heart and personality and she can't get enough cuddling. Slowly helping her to get better socialized with other dogs was a difficult experience at times, but I would not trade Ruby for the world. She is my hiking companion and together we have been on countless adventures all over Utah.
My boyfriend and I are so happy with her, and she lights up our lives with her perky attitude and loving nature. She also keeps us active too- on days when we don't feel like exercising, she is there ready to get us off our butts! She has improved my lifestyle by getting me outside hiking more than I would have, and I love to see how happy she is to get to run off the leash now and play with any dog that comes along. Many thanks to the excellent staff at the humane society who take such good care of the animals and have been so helpful to me. Thank you for giving us our best friend!
