My friend and I were looking for a dog for about 3 months. We could never find a perfect match for us. One day we went to the PetsMart in Taylorsville to buy cat food for our cats. It just so happened that on this day the humane society was running an adoption fair at the store. My friend and I took a quick peek at the animals and we seen Thor. He was the most gorgeous dog I have ever seen. We played with him for a little bit, but didn’t have the paperwork from our landlord at the moment to adopt him. It killed us to have to leave him. About two weeks later we had gone to the humane society with the right paperwork and everything to adopt a pet, the only issue was WE FORGOT HIS NAME! We were so depressed at not knowing the dog’s name but we decided to go and look anyways. He was sitting in a kennel and caught our eyes again. At this moment we had no idea it was Thor the same dog we had seen at the fair. Again we fell in love with this HUGE teddy bear. It took us all of about 15 minutes to decide he was the one. We signed the paperwork and took him home. The way he jumped in my truck you would have thought he had done it his whole life. This made me feel like he was really mine. On our way home we stopped at the same PetsMart to grab a dog bed, chew toys, leash, collar, food and anything else we could spoil him with. On our way into the store we seen the adoption fair again, not thinking anything about what happened two weeks earlier. We were walking to the door when one of the volunteers walked out and seen him. They immediately started freaking out saying, “Thor you found a home.” It wasn’t until this moment that my friend and I noticed IT WAS THE SAME DOG! We stopped right there started hugging him saying we knew we were meant for each other. He is still the biggest teddy bear you could ever know. I love him so much he is the best dog a girl could ask for. Thanks for listening you guys really changed my life the day I got my Thor.
