PROFUSION OF PUPPIES AT HUMANE SOCIETY!
The blizzard that hit the Salt Lake valley a few days ago seems to have brought more than just lots of snow — for some reason, the Humane Society of Utah’s shelter is "snowed in" with puppies right now, too. "There are puppies of all sizes and breeds," says HSU Operations Manager Carlene Wall, "puppies in every kennel and puppies in extra enclosures in the lobby. It’s snowing puppies, and that’s a very odd situation for this time of the year."
The Society is urging anyone who has had difficulty finding a puppy during the winter season to visit its shelter at 4242 South 300 West and look over the many, many available candidates for adoption. "They’re all absolutely adorable," says Ms. Wall. "There’s a wonderful puppy here for anyone’s taste, and we hope they’ll all go to wonderful new homes."
Adoptions are open from 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 4 PM on Sundays. For further information, please call 261-2919.
