SECOND HEARING SET FOR MAN WHO PUT DOG IN OVEN - HUMANE SOCIETY WANTS JUSTICE DONE

Marc C. Vincent, who is charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after allegedly having chased and cornered his wife’s dog, Henry, with a leaf-blower and then placing the animal in a 200° oven for five minutes, will appear in court again on Monday, September 18th, at 1:30 PM. Vincent refused to speak to reporters after his initial pre-trial hearing last week, and his attorney has asked for more time to review the evidence in the case.

A pre-trial hearing date has been set for 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 5th, in Room W39 of the Matheson Courthouse, 450 S. State Street, for Marc C. Vincent, who is charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals. The charges stem from an incident when, on May 25th , Vincent admitted to having chased and cornered his wife’s dog, Henry, with a leaf-blower and then placing the animal in a 200° oven for five minutes.

The Humane Society of Utah is offering a FREE identification microchip, a $25 value, to pets of the first 50 NEW clients at its clinic, located at 4242 South 300 West, when a complete dog or cat vaccination package is purchased.
Previous clients will also get a bargain -- microchips will be only $15. This special will begin on September 5th and be in effect through the 30th.
