Marc C. Vincent, the man who has pleaded guilty to placing a small dog named Henry in a hot oven, will be sentenced for his crime on Monday, November 6th, at 9:00 AM in the Third District Court. The Humane Society of Utah is urging everyone to take a moment to write a letter to the judge in this case and request that the harshest sentence possible under current Utah law should be imposed.
The public cannot tell a judge what to do, but you can respectfully encourage Judge William Barrett to sentence Marc Vincent to one year in jail, impose a fine of $2,500, and, most importantly, get psychological counseling.
Judges do not have e-mail addresses, so we ask that you write an actual letter and send it to the following address:
The Honorable William Barrett
Third District Court
Matheson Courthouse
450 S. State Street
Salt Lake City, UT 84111
Thank you, on behalf of Henry and all other abused animals in Utah, for speaking out for them.
